David M. Layton has focused his practice on the areas of toxic torts and personal injury.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Mr. Layton attended the University of Baltimore, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree, and John Hopkins University, where he earned a Master of Administrative Science degree in 1976.
After receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore, Mr. Layton was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1980 and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 1983.
Mr. Layton is an active member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Before joining HermanGerel, Mr. Layton served as an attorney with the Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Layton practices at the HermanGerel office in Baltimore, Maryland.
